
Sounder Connections
The external and internal sounder can be connected to the control panel u sing the following
connections:
AUX TAMP - These terminals pr ovide tamper protection to auxiliary devices such as
power supplies, extension loudspeaker units etc.
SPK+ - Extensi on loudspeakers may be connected between [SPK+] and [H/O-].
The minimum impedanceis 16Ohms. Upto twomaybe connectedto the
control panel.
Do NOT run extension loudspeak ers within the same cabling as remote
keypads or LECs.
H/O - - This is used to p rovide a permanent -ve hold off to external sounder s.
H/O + - This is used to provide a permanent +ve hold off to externa l so unders,
strobes etc. It is protected by a 1 Amp fuse (Bell 12V).
TR - - This is the negative tamper return connection from the siren or bell.
STB - - This is the strobe output which w ill switch to 0V on alarm and draws a
maximumof5 00mA.Connecttheothersi deofthestrobetothe[H/O+].
TRG - - This output can be programmed to be either an SAB or SCB and opera tes
as f ollows:
SAB: TRG -willswitchto 0Vonal armandwillsinkamaximumof500mA.
SCB: TRG - will provide a negat ive hold off, which is removed on alarm.
